American Century Investments was honored at the 5th annual Excellence In Financial Literacy Education ("EIFLE") Awards, presented in Chicago on April 20 at the 2011 Institute for Financial Literacy conference. The firm received the "Education Program of the Year" award in the General Children's Category for its Yes, You Can - Financial Education curriculum. And, for its longstanding support of financial education and the breadth of offerings through the YesYouCanOnline.info website and other venues, the firm also was awarded the for-profit "Organization of the Year" award.
The Institute for Financial Literacy is a national nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization whose mission is to make effective financial literacy education available for everyone. Celebrating its 5th Anniversary, the EIFLE Awards were created to acknowledge innovation, dedication, and the commitment of those supporting financial literacy education efforts nationwide.
